Who We Are

About Us

L-SUPPORT advises FLINTA*.

FLINTA* stands for women, lesbians*, intersex*, non-binary, trans*masculine and transfeminine and agender people.

These people often experience violence.

This violence comes from sexism, queerphobia, racism, antisemitism, classism, and ableism.

Lesbian*-queer lives are often not in focus. We want to change that.

L-SUPPORT makes anti-queer violence visible.

We offer support for those affected and for their loved ones.

We develop concepts for prevention.

The project aims to empower and encourage those affected.

We speak publicly about violence against lesbians*.

We show the social causes of this violence.

In political committees, we advocate for the rights of FLINTA*.

We work together with allies.

Talk about words used

We write lesbians* to show diversity.
Lesbian* livestyles are different.

The * means there are many groups.
It also shows there are different opinions about the word lesbian*.
The star stands for diversity and visibility.

We see language as flexible.
Language changes over time.
Everyone can decide for themselves what they want to be called.
