Incident Reports
About the incident reports
You can report any incident that you perceive as discrimination or violence towards lesbians and queer people. If you are unsure, you are welcome to contact us – or simply report your experience. Basically, if your boundaries have been violated and it concerns you, it’s an incidence worth reporting.
Your report helps us make anti-lesbian and anti-queer violence visible. We use your data anonymously for our statistics. We will not pass on any data that could be used to identify you to third parties (name, contact details, special identifying features, etc.)
It is helpful for the evaluation if you answer the questions in as much detail as possible.
If you have any questions or need support, you can reach us every Saturday and Sunday from 5pm to 7pm on 030 459 618 65 or by email at office@l-support.net

What is anti-lesbian or anti-queer violence?
Anti-lesbian and anti-queer violence affects many women, lesbians, intersex, trans, non-binary and agender people. It is directed against a person’s presumed sexuality and gender.
Anti-lesbian violence comes in many forms.
Examples include:
- a gesture
- a anti-lesbian or anti-queer slogan
- an insult
- spitting at or in front of your feet
- pushing
- sexualized innuendo
- physical violence
However, anti-lesbian and anti-queer violence can look different for everyone. They can cause those affected to be afraid, angry or insecure. Every person reacts differently.
By violence, we mean psychological, physical, sexualized, economic and digital violence. We provide advice in crisis situations, after a specific incident, but also in cases of violence that has occurred a long time ago. We also offer support if you want to protect yourself from violence, experience everyday discrimination or experience violence within a lesbian-queer relationship.
Some victims blame themselves for what has happened. Our stance is that those affected are never to blame for experiencing violence.
In reality, it is not only lesbians who are affected by anti-lesbian violence. L-SUPPORT supports all people who experience anti-lesbian or anti-queer violence. This can also include people who do not identify as lesbians or as queer, but who have been labeled as such by people and experience discrimination and violence as a result.
Campaign: Report Your Incident!
Anti-lesbian and anti-queer violence is not visible!
Violence against lesbians and women, inter, trans, non-binary and agender people affected by anti-lesbian and anti-queer violence is no exception. Many are spat at, insulted or experience violence in other physical, psychological or emotional forms because they have been identified and/or perceived as lesbian/bi+/queer.
Violence against lesbians and bi+ people hardly appears in social discourse. There is hardly any research on this and the number of unreported cases of violence is over 90%.
Because only a few of those affected talk about their experiences, anti-lesbian violence is largely invisible. As a result, those who experience anti-lesbian and anti-queer violence receive little attention in social debates. One consequence of this is that fewer resources are made available to combat anti-lesbian and anti-queer violence. Many of those affected find it difficult to talk about their experience of violence because they are afraid that they will not be taken seriously.
Help us to make anti-lesbian and anti-queer violence visible!
Our aim is to make anti-lesbian and anti-queer violence visible and to support victims and witnesses. L-SUPPORT documents incidents of violence and discrimination. The case reports and our annual statistics help to make anti-lesbian and anti-queer violence visible and strengthen civil courage.
We use the reported cases as a basis for developing political measures. Victims and witnesses can report incidents. The report is confidential and not a police report.
For visibility and prevention measures, we need numbers as a basis for argumentation – every report counts!
We evaluate the reports anonymously. It will not be possible to draw conclusions about specific individuals.
Even if the incident happened some time ago, you can report it and it will be recorded in the statistics!
You can report your incident online using our reporting form
or by phone via our hotline.
Our hotline is available for you every Saturday and Sunday from 5pm to 7pm.
If you need support, we will be happy to advise you via the hotline or in our on-site counseling service. There is always an open consultation on Tuesdays from 4-6 pm.
